Judith Marriott in concert
Judith Marriott has been teaching music at the highest levels for over 30 years. In 1978, Judith graduated from the NSW Conservatorium of Music with a Diploma of Music Education. Since then she has held music teaching positions in many schools. Her musical journey includes:

Primary Music Specialist Kincoppal-Rose Bay Convent. (1979-81)

Travelled overseas, studying and working in England and Israel. (1981-83)

HSC music examiner for the Department of Education, as well as fulltime woodwind teacher. (1984-86)

Music Department Coordinator. Queenwood School, Mosman. (1985-87)

Director of Woodwind. Newington College, Stanmore. (1987)

Head of Woodwind. Trinity Grammar School, Summer Hill, Sydney. (1994-98)

Classroom Music Teacher (to HSC Level). Moriah College, Queen’s Park,Sydney. (1999)

Music Therapist for Kosovo and East Timor refugees in Operation Safehaven. (2000)
Besides her extensive music classroom teaching experience she has an impressive range of private music teaching specialities including:

musicianship and theory of music.
Judith has also had many years experience in conducting a range of various instrumental ensembles and concert bands through to orchestras. She has a great feel for jazz as well as the classical repertoire. Judith also has a passion and talent for composition.
In 2006, Judith moved to Cooma with her son Ben to enjoy a country lifestyle. She is currently teaching music at Cooma School of Music.
