You played really well! I bet the next time will be a lot easier. The secret is to gets lots of practice playing to people. Build up your confidence. Another secret is to totally focus on the music and pretend that the people aren’t there..like they’re cardboard cutouts. Always play pieces you’ve really prepared well even if you think they might be too easy! An easy piece played beautifully is still a beautifully played piece. Play for yourself..if other people like it good for them. If they don’t..well bad luck, they’ll get over it. If you enjoy your own playing your audience will enjoy it too! 100%

It was a scary concert. All of those watching eyes.. Great fun though, biggest crowd I’d ever played to.

Our family also enjoyed the concert – although occasionally it was difficult to hear the guitar playing above the noise of conversation. Not sure how this could be addressed?

Scott and I thought that Cafe Music was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. We had a guest staying for the weekend and he (David) found the music and atmosphere thoroughly enjoyable.

We would like to see Allan, Leslie, Esa and Brodie play next time as they have done at previous concerts.
