We had a wonderful afternoon of music making at Café Music.

The Tim Draxl Performing Arts Scholarship

Congratulations to the winners and participates of the inaugural Tim Draxl Performing Arts Scholarship 2011.

The winners of this year’s scholarship were:

Background
Singer, online pianist and actor Tim Draxl grew up in Berridale and enjoyed wonderful support from
the Snowy River Shire community as a young performer.  Having experienced
success both in Australia and abroad, medicine Tim wanted to give something back to the
community he grew up in.
The Tim Draxl Performing Arts Scholarship was established in response. The
scholarship is designed to support young Snowy River Shire residents in pursuing the
performing arts by providing financial support for workshops, conferences, and
other crucial learning experiences.
