Cielle Kinross_black and whiteCooma School of Music welcomes another new teacher, healing Cielle Kinross. Cielle will be teaching singing and song writing at Cooma School of Music. Cielle is a wonderful singer in her own right and she has an extremely impressive background in music. Her website contains some great audio and video as well as a biography and photos. www.ciellekinross.com.

Cielle loves many diferent kinds of music, but her first love is country. “Growing up on the land, listening to artists such as Neil Young, John Williamson, Emmylou Harris and John Denver, there was never any doubt that country music was in Cielle’s blood. Nowadays, her musical influences consist of artists such as Holly Williams, Patty Griffin, Eva Cassidy, Zac Brown Band, Bernard Fanning, Shane Nicholson, Norah Jones, Brandi Carlile and many, many more….” (from her website)

January 2015 saw Cielle kick the New Year off in Tamworth, where she not only performed at the Country Music Festival, but also attended the highly acclaimed CMAA Academy of Country Music, and was fortunate enough to be mentored by industry leaders such as Tamara Stewart, Lyn Bowtell, Kevin Bennett, Karl Broadie, Roger Corbett, Brad Bergen and Amber Lawrence. Among the many highlights was the opportunity to sing a few songs with the likes of Kasey Chambers, Harry Hookey and Catherine Britt.
