Big News for Michael Horneman

Big News Update - Debut Single Release.

2013 was a good year for MJH music, web and 2014 has started out even better. I am proud to announce that my debut single “Proud to be Country” is going to produced and released by Musik and Film Records in the US, unhealthy and will be distributed globally through Sony/The Orchard.

It has been a long process to get to here, pancreatitis but I am really excited about this track, and even more excited to be working with such a quality production team. Stephen Wrenchhas worked with many greats over the years in all genres including to name a few Survivor, Toto, Daryl Worley, John Anderson, Bad Company, Tamika, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Duran Duran, Rick Springfield, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and now is going to work together with me to create something special. The rest of the team at Musik and Filmhave also worked with some amazing artists over a long time, you can see the credits for the rest of the team here.  It has been a great experience getting started on this journey, and now with the support of Musik and Film I will be able to take my career to the next level.

The release date for the single will be announced in February, but don’t worry, you will hear about it first in the next update.

Big thanks also to Bryce Wastney for helping me out also with promotions, marketing and social media, and also for the songwriting tips, invaluable stuff. Check out his site and support another artist who is working with Musik and Film. 2014 has also started out with promotional work, including a photo shoot to update webpage content, and as a pre-planning shoot to develop images and scenes for the video clip for “Proud to be Country”.

Here is one of the images from the photo shoot. To see more go towww.michaelhorneman.com.au and have look around the updated site.

I have lots of gigs lined up for later on this year, playing some new places, and going back to some old places. A big thank you to everyone who has helped me out in many ways over the last 3 years of this journey, thanks for taking the time to sign up, and to stay in touch with my mailing list. Please share with your friends, I would appreciate it!!

Thanks,
MJH

About ’40’ Cafe:

At ’40’ Café we are making, or trying to make, a difference in the lives of people locally and over seas!

We are doing that in a number of ways.

 LOCALLY

We are endeavouring to use local produce to help local farmers and local producers with their busness (if only in a small way).

We are producing great quality food for our local community and wonderful organic and fair trade coffee, produced in Byron Bay.

Highering local staff.

Wearing organic and ethically made uniforms, so the the money we spend is used wisely to benefit the production and the people making the product are getting paid for what they do!

Using Biodegradable packaging so that our waste goes back into the ground and doesn’t sit in land fills for our children to try to get rid of later!

 CHARITIES WE SUPPORT

Click here to find out about the charities we support.

OUR FOOD

We have many wonderful vegan, vegetarian main meals and desserts.

We also cater for gluten free diets, lactose intolerant and of course, we only use organic meat and free range eggs.

Make sure you try our wonderful coffee on your next visit – we use only the best quality – Bunn Coffe from Byron Bay.

FUNKY PIES
