Stars Will Come Out This Saturday
In the first item on the Arts Council’s concert programme this Saturday evening, viagra sale musician Chris Wall will be playing trumpet and piano at the same time. To find out how he achieves this and to appreciate the results, you will need to come along to St Paul’s Anglican Parish Hall for the 7:30pm recital.
This concert, the final Snowy Monaro Arts Council presentation for 2014, is named “Stars†in deference to the rich programme. It includes the title song, “Stars†from ‘Les Miserables’ as well as Albert Arlen’s arrangement of “Clancy of the Overflow†(featuring the lines, “And he sees the vision splendid of the sunlit plains extended, and at the night the wond’rous glory of the everlasting starsâ€).
These two pieces are not the only stars to be enjoyed on the night. The three performers Glenyss Allen, Thomas Keenan and Chris Wall are each very accomplished in their instruments – piano, voice and brass respectively.
The programme also showcases well-loved composers and well-loved tunes such as Henry Mancini and Rodgers and Hammerstein.
Tickets for “Stars†are available at The Fabric Salon in Cooma. Admission is $25 for an Adult, $20 for Concession and $15 for Snowy Monaro Arts Council members. Admission is free for children and school students. Of course supper is included in the ticket price.
