About Viki Parsons:

Victoria Parsons first became interested in playing instruments at the age of 10, when Cooma Public School took the initiative to establish their first school band. Through chance she was given a flute to try and instantly feel in love with it’s sound. With the support of school bands, community bands, choirs, church music groups, the enthusiastic teachers at the Cooma School of Music and the wonderful opportunities this small musical community offers, Victoria has been encouraged to learn, grow and establish a true passion for music.

She currently tutors flute, voice and choir/ensembles at the Clavier School of Music in Hurstville and at North Cross Christian School in North Ryde. Victoria completed her Bachelor of Music: Classical Performance at the Australian Institute of Music with Dr. Danielle Eden, and has now commenced a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Anthropology and Music Studies at the University of Sydney.

About ’40′ Cafe:

At ’40′

Café we are making, or trying to make, a difference in the lives of people locally and over seas!

We are doing that in a number of ways.

 LOCALLY

We are endeavouring to use local produce to help local farmers and local producers with their busness (if only in a small way).

We are producing great quality food for our local community and wonderful organic and fair trade coffee, produced in Byron Bay.

Highering local staff.

Wearing organic and ethically made uniforms, so the the money we spend is used wisely to benefit the production and the people making the product are getting paid for what they do!

Using Biodegradable packaging so that our waste goes back into the ground and doesn’t sit in land fills for our children to try to get rid of later!

We have many wonderful vegan, vegetarian main meals and desserts.
