The Beauty of Baroque in Cooma

On Sunday 10 February at 2:30pm Peter Crane will present his fourth concert in St Andrew’s Uniting Church in Cooma.

Peter’s life has been music. Starting on piano at the age of four, his career as an organist began when he was just 16. He played for broadcasts and concerts on organs at Pitt Street Congregational Church and Sydney Town Hall plus numerous concerts at Sydney Opera House.

Since 1990 Peter has resided in Brisbane where he is a freelance professional accompanist and organist. He is heavily involved in Redlands Eisteddfods and has directed and produced ‘Redlands on Stage’ for a number of years.

The recital programme for the 10^th of February includes pieces from the Baroque period through to the 20^th century, and also features the talents of two local musicians. Glenyss Allen and Chris Wall will join Peter, on piano and trumpet respectively, during the concert.

This will be the first presentation of the year for Snowy Monaro Arts Council. Tickets are available now at The Fabric Salon and at the door on the day.
