From ANBC Busker to Number One in the Aria Charts! Tones And I, aka Toni Watson, performed at the ANBC Noosa Busking Championships in 2018. There she was noticed by Oz Bayldon, the director of Noosa Come together and the Gympie Music Muster. Oz predicted a huge future for this new talent and he invited her to perform at the Gympie Music Muster. She was then discovered by triple j Unearthed and the rest, as they say, is history.
Fun fact – the last Australian female to do this was Delta Goodrem in 2015.
